Abstrakt: The results are presented of an experimental study, based on thermal, x-ray structural, metallographic, and x-ray spectral investigations, of the system nickel-boron. A new compound, NiB12, was found, and high melting points were determined for the compounds Ni4B3 (o), Ni4B3(m), and NiB. A new phase diagram has been constructed for the system nickelboron.
