The results of stability tests are presented for impact loading, by uniform pressure of liquid, of nearly 150 spherical segments clamped along the boundary and made of rolled sheet material (steel, brass) by hydraulic drawing. The modes of postbuckling states are considered, dependent on the height of the center of the segment. Experimental dynamical coefficients of overload are determined for testpieces tested. The relationships are written for the dynamic pressure and the dimensions of buckling depending on time. The formation and development of the dents under impact loads are recorded by means of high-speed photography. The stress stare of individual testpieces is determined. The relationship is established between the coefficient of dynamical overload and the rate of loading, the energy of impact and the geometrical parameters of the shell. |
