| Abstrakt: | 1.By proper selection of the finite elements grid, the accuracy of an FEM calculation of an SSS can be improved significantly.2.For practical purposes, a grid with uniform and local condensation of the nodes is close to optimum.3.The effect of the grid on accuracy is particularly manifest for thick-arched cylinders and in the case of a small number of grid nodes along the radius. |
