1.Process development work in single-stage hydrocracking has been aimed at the production of diesel and jet fuels from heavy distillates obtained from medium-sulfur crudes. Catalysts have been selected for the variants of this process.2.It has been shown that the use of these new catalysts makes it possible to process heavy vacuum distillates effectively by single-stage hydrocracking, with 77–79% yields (based on original feedstock) of the primary product, i.e., jet fuel or winter- or summer-grade diesel fuel.3.The engine fuels obtained by hydrocracking are of high quality. These fuels are essentially free of sulfur, nitrogen, and resins, and have good viscosity-temperature characteristics and other properties related to service in engines. |
