1.Oxidation of TS-1G fuel with certain individual sulfur compounds at 150°C in the presence of copper leads to formation of precipitates consisting of crystalline and amorphous substances.2.Oxidation of TS-1G fuel with n-nonyl mercaptan, dioctyl sulfide, dioxtyl disulfide, and a-hexylthiophane leads to formation of a crystalline phase containing CuSO4·5H2O, CuSO4, Cu2S, and Cu2O. However, virtually no copper sulfates are formed during oxidation with phenyl mercaptan, diphenyl sulfide, and diphenyl disulfide, and the crystalline phase consists mainly of copper salts of aromatic sulfonic acids.3.The amorphous part of the precipitates contains the following functional groups; SO3H, SO, SO3-, C= O, OH, $$ - C\begin{array}{*{20}c} { / / \begin{array}{*{20}c} O \\ {OH} \\ \end{array} } \\ \backslash \\ \end{array} , - C\begin{array}{*{20}c} { / / \begin{array}{*{20}c} O \\ {O - } \\ \end{array} } \\ \backslash \\ \end{array} , - O - \begin{array}{*{20}c} O \\ {||} \\ S \\ {||} \\ O \\ \end{array} - O - .$$ The presence of $$ - O - \begin{array}{*{20}c} O \\ {||} \\ S \\ {||} \\ O \\ \end{array} - O - $$ groups is observed only in the case of oxidation of mixtures with aliphatic organosulfur compounds. |
