Abstrakt: 1.The addition of 3 to 20% of polydimethyl-, polydiethyl-, and polyphenylmethylsiloxanes to di(2-ethylhexyl) sebacate increases the critical seizing load of the ester by a factor of 1.5–2.2.An optimal polysiloxane concentration exists for blends of polysiloxanes with dicarbonic acid esters, at which a maximal increase of critical seizing load is achieved.3.Blends of polyethylsiloxane with fluorochlorocarbons show better lubricating properties over a wide concentration range than each of the pure components.
