Abstrakt: 1.Experiments on a pilot plant for the purification of lubricating oils with phenol showed that the process of purification is more efficient in a column with vibrating plates than in a packed column.2.In columns with vibrating plates, according to the intensity of vibration, there are three characteristic types of conditions: “velocity”, “transitional”, and “inertia”.3.As the parameter characterizing the inertia conditions we can use the dimensionless vibration criterion of Froude or the acceleration of the vibrations.4.By dimensional methods we found the general form of a criterial equation of column flooding for an extraction column with vibrating plates.5.From the experimental data we found an explicit form of the equation for the limiting flow rates and the equation for the limiting flow rates and the equation for the onset of inertia conditions.6.An equation is given for the HETP of the system oil-phenol.
