Abstrakt: Summary Suspensions ofBordetella pertussis were extracted according to the method described by Munoz and Hestekin (1962). After salt fractionation further separation into 11 fractions was done by gel filtration. Each of the 11 fractions was tested in mice with respect to the following activities: protective effectiveness, pyrogenecity, increase in antibody production to sheep erythrocytes, toxicity, induction of histamine-hypersensitivity, increase in anaphylactic sensitivity, production of both splenomegaly and leukocytosis.
