| Abstrakt: | We construct a three-chamber hydrodynamic model of the cochlea, based on the two-chamber model with Reissner's membrane added. The anisotropic stiffness values of both membranes are obtained from Bekesy's hair probe experiments. The membrane response in the two- and three-chamber models is examined as a function of some of the cochlea parameters. |
