Maturity interaction and black layer occurrence in opaque-2 and normal hybrids in maize (Zea mays L.)

Abstrakt: Six opaque-2 lines and their normal counterparts were crossed in diallel crosses. The crosses were grown in 1970 in a split plot randomized complete block design. Harvests were made at 7-day intervals starting at 28 days after pollination and countinuing through 63 days.
