| Abstrakt: | Summary The mechanism of the polymerization of 4,4'-difluorodiphenyl sulfone uith n-BuLi does not follow the way previously proposed by us for other diphenyl derivatives (1–4). Metallation occurs principally in the ortho position of the sulfone group and cyclization reactions also take place. |
