Abstrakt:	The kinetics of the reaction between [ReN(H2O) (CN)4]2− and cyanide has been studied in the ca. pH 8–14 range. The aqua ligand in the [ReN(H2O)(CN)4]2− complex is substituted by both CN− ions and HCN according to the following reaction:
