Abstrakt: Conclusions 1.Microiontophoretic delivery of ß-endorphin to the PR of the hypothalamus leads to a significant lowering of the LH level in the blood and to a rise in it in the pituitary.2.A significant negative correlation is observed between the changes in the LH levels in the blood and pituitary under the influence of introduction of ß-endorphin into the PR of the hypothalamus.3.ß-Endorphin evidently participates in the mechanism controlling the reproductive function at the level of the cyclic center of regulation of LH release from the pituitary.
