Abstrakt: Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the prostate and bladder provides, for the first time, the ability to image directly in multiple planes without any loss of resolution. It is thus proving very helpful in the evaluation of the prostate, the periprostatic structures and the urinary bladder. We will discuss the current role and limitations of MRI in evaluating diseases of the prostate and the urinary bladder.
