Abstrakt:	Eighteen months after completion of a radiochemotherapy treatment for a T4 tonsil cancer, a patient presented with a piece of bone coming out through a submandibular fistula and increasing pain. A CT scan, a bone scintigraphy and an 18-fluorodeoxyglucose positron-emission tomography were performed. Both diagnoses of osteoradionecrosis and tumor recurrence were suspected and then confirmed after mandibulectomy.
