In 1979 the adaptation of a multi-media package, developed and produced by FWU Munich for the geography curriculum in the Netherlands was undertaken. This article will be concerned with the description of this task. The multi-media package under consideration Gletscher in den Alpen, (Glaciers in the Alps) was produced by the Institut für Film und Bild in Wissenschaft und Unterricht (The Institute for Film and Pictures in Science and Teaching), Munich, FRG, in cooperation with the Vereinigung Schweizerischer Unterrichtfilmstellen, (Association of Swiss School Film Departments), Zürich. This package is aimed at pupils in the first year of secondary education, the so-called Sekundarstufe 1. |
