Abstrakt: Purpose:Intraoperative Floppy Iris Syndrome (IFIS) syndrome occurs during cataract surgery in patients using Flomax. In oder to understand iris stiffening with different drugs we investigated how the elastic modulus (i.e., the stiffness) of the iris changes following stimulation by pilocarpine, phenylephrine, and tropicamide.
