The article shows methodological possibilities of improving the results of the prediction of characteristics of the long-time strength of metallic materials by changing in the method of generalized diagrams the conditions of geometric similarity of the equivalent stresses and the time to rupture corresponding to them. This entails poorer reliability of the predicted characteristics, which, however, are still numerically lower than the analogous characteristics extrapolated by parametric temperature-time dependences of Larson—Miller type. |
