Abstrakt: This paper analyzes the thermal regime of a photodetector module having a substrate in the shape of a square. A calculation of the temperature distribution over the working surface of a photodetector module based on lead sulfide films allows the temperature of the photosensitive elements of the array to be estimated fairly accurately. Taking into account how the photosensitivity of an element depends on its coordinate on the working surface of the module and the use of computerized signal processing allows one to obtain an undistorted image that gives the best correspondence with the actual observed object. © 2004 Optical Society of America
