New record of Annuloplatidia annulata(Atkins, 1959) (Brachiopoda, Platidiidae) from the East Pacific

Abstrakt: New findings of the Recent brachiopod Annuloplatidia annulatain the Eastern Pacific are described, which considerably enlarges the range of the species. The brachidial support for the lophophore of this species is documented in detail using scanning electron microscopy. A brief discussion of the distribution of Annuloplatidia annulatais given.
