Six measures of attitudes toward the elderly which initially were studied by Hicks, Rogers, and Shemberg [11] were reevaluated for their comparability in assessing the same underlying construct. Confirmatory maximum likelihood factor analysis was used to test and compare factor models that represented varying degrees of equivalence among the six measures. Results indicated that the measures demonstrated greater comparability than was concluded by Hicks, et al. in their initial analysis. |
