| Abstrakt: | Feather samples from 285 birds, representing 113 species, were examined for keratinophilic fungi. Of these, 116 (40·7%) gave positive isolations. "Chrysosporium" spp. (21·8%), Arthroderma curreyi (14·0%), Arthroderma tuberculatum (8·5%) and Nannizzia cajetani (3·9%) predominated. |
