Abstrakt: This paper presents an extension of the theory of multivariable time-invariant optimal regulators with incomplete state feedback to the systems with immeasurable constant or slowly varying input, disturbances. The optimal control law, providing a compensation of disturbance effects, is of a proportional-plus-integral type. It does not depend on disturbances and employs only available output measurements. The paper gives the derivation of an infinite time proportional-plus-integral regulator with an output constrained feedback, an algorithm for a numerical solution of this optimal control problem and some results of digital simultation studies performed on the 17th-order model of two interconnected power areas.
