High performance liquid chromatographic methods that have been developed for microparticulate supports can be adapted to 30u supports, such as the SynChroprep series, for large scale purification. Loading capacity and resolution of the ion exchange and reversed phase macroparticulate supports are examined. One gram of protein may be loaded on the ion exchange support in a 250x10 mm I. D. column. |
