| Abstrakt: |
Intensity and polarization are derived for photon echoes formed in vapours of atoms with non-zero nuclear spin by exciting pulses which are linearly polarized in different planes. It is shown that the polarization properties can be used to determine the nature of the resonant transition which produces the photon echo. |
