Abstrakt:	Novel zaragozic acids, potent inhibitors of squalene synthase, have been isolated from a fermentation that produces zaragozic acid C (1). Zaragozic acid F (4) represents the first zaragozic acid possessing a non-aromatic alkyl side chain (at position 1).
