| Abstrakt: | A new tetracyclic depsidone, excelsione (1), was isolated from the extract of an unidentified fungal endophyte obtained from the New Zealand endemic tree Knightia excelsa. The structure was elucidated by X-ray crystallography and NMR spectroscopy. |
