| Abstrakt: |
A new species of Sophrorhinus recorded on kola (Cola nitida) in Nigeria is described and named S. gbanjaensis. The description of the new species is based on details of external morphology and structure of the aedeagus which were found to be sufficiently different from other validly identified species of Sophrorhinus. S. divareti Hoffmann is also established as a synonym of S. quadricristatus Faust. |
