The reproducibility of the Roth power centric bite registration technique was investigated on healthy subjects. Three different operators performed the procedure to determine interoperator variability. Each operator made 3 bite registrations that were compared by measurements recorded on the condylar position indicator (CPI; Panadent Corp, Grand Terrace, CA.). Data were evaluated by an analysis of variance to determine interoperator variability. Intraoperator variability was assessed using Student t tests. The results showed no statistically significant differences within each operator or between operators (P > .05). |
