Abstrakt: Immunosuppressive therapy during pregnancy is necessary for patients who are organ transplant recipients and those with autoimmune diseases. All immunosuppressant agents cross the placenta, but these drugs cannot be discontinued during pregnancy because of the life-threatening nature of the indication for the use of immunosuppressants. The purpose of this article is to assess the use of the common immunosuppressive drugs in pregnancy with greatest emphasis on their effects on the mother and the fetus.
