| Abstrakt: |
The article discusses the lessons learned by the authors after visiting Jacmel, Haiti as part of their research project on community empowerment through the provision of assistance in the areas of health care, nutrition, education, and general living conditions. The authors find that the country has been practicing the excessive use of corporal punishment and happiness is the most common emotion of the Haitian people. They also discover the implementation of feeding programs for children. |
