The article presents a case study of a five-year old pregnant cross bred Jersey cow presenting with abnormal growth in the right eye and a history of mucopurulent ocular discharge. Clincial examination of the cow showed blepharospasm of the eye with soft granulated tissue in the corneal-dorsolateral quadrant near the limbus. The article discusses chronic corneal epithelial defect in cow with granulation, surgical management with keratectomy and use of corneal collagen shield. |
