Abstrakt: The article presents a study on the conflicts between humans and giant otters or Pteronura Brasiliensis in Amaña Reserve, Brazilian Amazonia. It refers to giant otters are the largest freshwater carnivores in South America with adults reaching nearly 1.8 meters in length and 30 kilograms in weight. Giant river otters are susceptible to changes in environments being primarily terrestrial species adapted to forage in bodies of water that are accessible to humans.
