The article discusses the highlights of the first status meeting of the European Union Commission's Joint Action on Chronic Diseases' (CHRODIS-JA) Work Package 7 (WP7) entitled "Diabetes: A Case Study on Strengthening Health Care for People with Chronic Diseases" held in Rome, Italy on July 8, 2014. Topics discussed include an introduction to the project and the preparatory work on a survey for establishing a baseline for the current state of diabetes prevention on the national level. |
