The article discusses how a provision for a bath shower was installed for the sailboat CHARLOTTE. Topics covered include different strategies to meet the washing needs of a boat crew such as docking at a nearby marina to shower at a friend's house, or lowering anchor at a cove to bathe with dish soap. The author describes his portable deck shower which was fabricated by attaching a showerhead to the tip of an acetylene torch with hoses connected to the boat's onboard pressure water system. |
