Abstrakt: The article explores the importance of cancer registries on recruiting minorities with breast cancer to participate on a breast cancer study. Topics discussed include the study design of the BRISK Project that is concentrated on breast cancer prevalence in Northern Mariana Islands and Guam, the recruitment process observed in the project and the challenges and success faced with the recruitment methods used.
