Abstrakt: The article reflects health communication programs in a number of countries. The author states that as of October 2014, health communication remains fixated on the production of Information-Education-Communication (IEC) materials including pamphlets, T-shirts and posters. The author comments that often, these materials have no specific behavioural objectives (SBOs). The author suggests the application of Communication for Behavioural Impact (COMBI) in health communication programs.
