Abstrakt:	The article focuses on the achievements of the Philbrook Museum of Art in Tulsa, Oklahoma as it prepares for its 75th anniversary in October 2014. Topics discussed include the opening of the facility in 1939, made possible through funding from oil businessman Waite Phillips, and the acquisition of art pieces, one of which is the Native American collection. Program development for children and the formation of a new satellite location are also mentioned.
