Abstrakt: The article focuses on a study identifying the best sites in Turkey for the monitoring and observation of the autumn migration of the Egyptian vulture, also Neophron percnopterus, as well as other diurnal raptors. It mentions the population declines of the Egyptian vulture in the Balkan countries, findings showing three points around Sarimazi and Selimiye villages located north of the Gulf of Iskenderun as best observation sites and a comparison of the patterns of migration in 1976 and 2013.
