The article discusses the fabrication of a simple deprogrammer from a one millimeter (mm) Essix sheet without the need for wire bending in the field of orthodontics. The deprogrammer is used in the recording of accurate centric relation, particularly in patients with temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMD). It cites as example the case of a 25-year-old man who complained about his facial asymmetry. |
