Topics discussed include conflicting reports on the benefit of adding an encircling scleral buckle (SB) to vitrectomy for GRT-rhegmatogenous retinal detachment (RRD), the preference for small-gauge vitrectomy for GRT-RRD repair, cautery in marking the breaks from amputated retinal blood vessels, and the integration of perfluorocarbon liquid (PFCL) in the repair of GRT-associated RRDs. |
