The article discusses whether U.S. President Barack Obama's exchange of 5 high value Taliban prisoners from Guantanamo with the return of Army Sergeant Bowe Bargdahl held hostage in Afghanistan was worthwhile. Topics discussed include the principle of the U.S. Army of never leaving a soldier behind in a war zone and never negotiating with terrorists and arguments that Barghdahl was a deserter of his post and does not deserve to be rescued. |
