Abstrakt:	The article discusses the contrast between the technical and natural directing approaches towards realism. Topics discussed include the role of lighting in the film "Meghe Dhaka Tara (The Cloud Capped Star)" by Ritik Ghatak to manipulate indoor and outdoor shots, the use of interior and exterior lighting to depict inner personal turmoil and public strife, and Ghatak's efforts to transform lighting into a palette of inner expressionism.
