| Abstrakt: |
The article reports a study carried out in 12 districts of Andhra Pradesh, India regarding isolation and identification of bluetongue virus (BTV) to assess the circulating serotypes in order to identify the effective vaccine candidate virus. It mentions that a total of 157 samples were collected from sheep suspected for BT and serotyping and phylogenetic analysis of confirmed BTV samples were carried out. Further it reports that a total of 25 BTV isolates were obtained in 9 districts. |
