| Abstrakt: | The article discusses the results of a research study conducted by Redland City Council which determines the green open space categories and assets for green open space areas in Australia. It examines the national classification system for green open spaces and the national and international classification systems for the purpose of formal and informal sport and recreation facilities. It also adds the beneficial effects of green open spaces for environmental quality. |
