The article focuses on the prevalence and negative impact of substance abuse and dependence in the workplace. Topics discussed include several intervention measures to prevent substance abuse, which include prevention and treatment programmes, employee assistance programmes (EAPs), and alcohol abuse which has a higher rate of dependency compared to other substance abuse. |
