Abstrakt: The author reflects on the American Royalties Too Act of 2014, a proposed legislation in the U.S. Congress, which amends the U.S. Copyright Act providing a resale royalty right for the creators of visual art. Topics discussed include the principle of droit de suite under the Copyright Act implemented on visual artists such as painters, photographers and sculptors, proposal to improve the definition of copyright infringement, and royalty on the resale of a physical object at an auction.
