Abstrakt: | The article focuses on John Bunyan, a religious writer whose works were most frequently translated into Gaelic language. The translation of Bunyan's works was done mostly in the first part of the nineteenth century when the evangelical movement was spreading to the remote corners of Scotland. The translations reflect the indegnisation of evangicalism in the region. |
