Abstrakt: The article discusses an investigation into the potential use of plagiarism in the drafting of various amicus curiae (AC) briefs in America as of March 2014, focusing on examinations of the language used in several U.S. Supreme Court (USSC) amicus briefs and lower court opinions and litigant briefs. According to the article, USSC AC briefs affect certiorari decisions, the ideological direction of votes by USSC Justices, and litigation success. Repetition and majority opinions are examined.
