The article presents a study aimed at determining the frequency of different genera of bacterial urinary tract infections (UTIs) in dogs and cats and their susceptibility to antimicrobials used in clinical routine. The study used qualitative and quantitative methods and urinalysis to evaluate urine samples for Gram-negative bacteria such as Escherichia coli. Results showed that Gram-negative strains had the highest resistance to tetracycline, enrofloxacin, cotrimazol, and streptomycin. |
